FAQ.
What does The Ascend really do?
We do the legwork of vetting and curating a pool of professional, compassionate and eye-opening coaches. We want to help you connect with the one who fits your unique needs, personality and situation. Starting off with a matching call, we’ll ask you questions to evaluate and understand what you’re looking to gain. Within a couple of days you’ll receive 3 coach suggestions and access to schedule free chemistry calls with each of them. We guide you in the decision-making process although we also encourage you to trust your instincts.
What’s different about how you work?
We really value human interaction. That’s why we don’t just rely on algorithms to pick and match you with the coach who’s going to be fundamental in your personal and professional development. You’ll be speaking to real people – people who help you understand what you want and guide you along every step to get there.
Is coaching only for fixing people with problems?
Coaching is about tapping into your potential. Regardless of whether you’re trying to ‘fix something’ or not, coaching challenges you to think in new resourceful ways to work through what’s holding you back. Our coaches focus on you –not problems. Coaching helps guide your critical thinking to create better habits and tackle your obstacles.
Does coaching even work?
You’ve got to be willing to commit to your own development and take action. All our coaches are deeply invested in personalising your experience – dedicated to empowering you on your journey to growth and happiness. If you’re ready to shoot the works you’ll experience direct correlations of improvement in how you feel and how you progress in your professional life.
How much does it cost to get a coach?
Your investment when working with a coach ranges from 250 GBP to 1’500 GBP monthly. You’ll usually be working with your coach for a minimum of 3 months. Each coach creates unique programs with different levels of engagement, session frequency, add-ons, hence pricing varies from one coach to another.
What am I committing to when booking a matching call?
If you book a matching call, you should be ready to commit to working with a coach, willing and able to put in the work. If you’re looking for a quick-fix or someone to give you answers, coaching might not be the right solution for you.
Should I get a coach if I feel good in my life?
If you’re anything like us, you know happiness isn’t binary. If you feel like there are areas in your life that could use a little more nurturing and balance, then yes, we’ll definitely find the right coach for you. It might not be about what you want to change in your life, but about crafting a long term action plan towards sustainable balance. You can be happy and do the same things you’ve always done, or you can be happy and become much fuller.
