take control of your agenda and feel empowered

Your word is your power.

In an interview with Steven Barlett for Diary of a CEO, Marie Forleo inspired us to be intentional with our responses to requests, instead of defaulting to "I don’t have time."

Scroll down to take control of your agenda and feel empowered.

1. Challenge your beliefs

When you say you can't do something, ask yourself why. Find the root. Know that you can change the narrative.

2. Face your fears

Sometimes you say "I can't" because you feel intimidated. Instead of running away, let your fear drive you forward. Fears can show you what you really want.

3. Be intentional

Replacing "I can’t" with "I won’t" puts you in a position of power. You're in charge of your agenda.

4. Be empowered

Choose to say "this isn’t a priority for me right now" instead of "I don’t have time".

5. Take action

When you remove excuses, you empower yourself to make new choices. Reflect on how you want to spend your time. say no to what doesn't align.
